Skills USA

Vidor High School's Zack LaFleur will be headed to the National Skills USA Competition in June to represent the state of Texas after winning gold at the state level in Criminal Justice Skills. Congratulations and good luck!

TTM Winners

Vidor Middle School Students took Math to a new level this year earning over a combined 2 million points to earn a pizza party by doing extra math work in the digital program Think Through Math. Congratulations to all the students who participated and their teachers.

Summer Nutrition Program

VISD participates in the Summer Nutrition Program serving meals at no charge to students 18 years and under. The program will run concurrently with the summer school schedule. For more information, click here.

Open Enrollment at VISD
As we look forward to next year, I want to remind Dr. Jay Killgoeveryone that Vidor ISD has a wide array of courses designed to prepare your student for future careers.  Welding, auto mechanics, nursing, computer technicians and pharmaceutical tech are just a few of the many options available to our high school students.  If you do not live within our boundaries, K-12 students may attend Vidor ISD under our Free Open Enrollment program.  Call 951-8714 for information.
