Vidor ISD Curriculum

Our central mission is the preparation and development of educators at all levels. The VISD curriculum department ensures that staff development is based on state and federal standards and established in current research and sound practices. We strive to assist all VISD teachers in reaching their full potential.

Teacher Resource SystemVISD utilizes the Teacher Resource System curriculum that many districts use state-wide. Following the scope and sequence will help provide a consistency among classes, districts, and regions in the state. Teachers have a wealth of resources to draw from in the TRS curriculum.

Dyslexia Support Services

Vidor ISD supports a variety of programs to enhance the student's educational needs. Each campus has teachers that work with students who need this extra support. Click here to see the services offered by the district and classroom teachers.

TechTalent Preparing students for real life 21st century skills is an important facet of the Vidor ISD educational process. In order to achieve our vision and mission as a district, we must introduce the real life tools that our graduates will need in post secondary education as well as future careers.
We appreciate those teachers who willingly allowed us to step into their everyday world and capture these "techno-curricular" moments. Click here to share in the adventure!
