Safety and Security at Vidor ISD

Safety is of utmost importance throughout the district. Our team of security officers are ready to help in the educational environment. The duties of our security personnel include protecting students, employees, and the physical site by enforcing policies and procedures; providing a deterrent factor by patroling the internal and external campus facilities; educate students on drug and bullying policies; contact and work with emergency personnel when necessary; and any other tasks where their assistance is needed.

Stop Bullying
At Vidor ISD we view bullying as the ongoing attack of one student by another. The attacks may be physical, verbal, or emotional in nature, however they all share two distinct attributes; the attacks are not provoked in anyway by the victim, and the victim is powerless to stop the attacks. If you feel this fits your child's situation please contact their teacher as a first step. We will work together to stop bullying.
